Yana Tymoshenko

Growing up in an immigrant family, I learned early on the importance of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance. I always loved sports and participated in volleyball and cheerleading during elementary school, but at 14, I had to start working, which meant putting athletics aside.

Although I didn't have the same opportunities to pursue sports growing up, my competitive spirit never disappeared. As an adult, I rediscovered that passion through strength training and competitive tennis. Today, I'm an accomplished competitive tennis player, consistently ranking among the top players in my division.

My passion for fitness eventually became something much bigger when I founded Fit Haus. What started as a love for health, wellness, and challenging myself grew into a career dedicated to helping others discover their own potential.

Throughout my journey, I've learned that strength goes far beyond physical ability. It's about discipline, resilience, consistency, and the willingness to keep growing. Those lessons have shaped the person, athlete, and coach I am today. I believe in leading by example, never settling for average, and showing people that they're capable of far more than they realize.

Before entering the fitness industry, I owned an insurance and financial services agency. While I had built a successful career, I eventually realized that my true passion was health, fitness, and sports.

After having my two boys, balancing motherhood, running a business, and finding time for myself became increasingly challenging. I knew how important fitness was to my physical and mental well-being, but I struggled to find something I genuinely enjoyed. At one point, I had memberships at four different gyms because no single place offered everything I was looking for. I was bored, uninspired, and constantly searching for an experience that would keep me motivated and excited to show up.

That's when I realized that if I couldn't find what I was looking for, maybe I needed to create it myself.

That realization led me into the fitness industry, where I initially operated multiple fitness studios through a franchise model. I gained invaluable experience, learned what worked and what didn't, and developed a much clearer vision of the experience I wanted to create.

Eventually, I made the decision to step away from the franchise model and build our own brand, Fit Haus. I wanted the freedom to create something that reflected my passion for fitness, my personal experiences, and my belief that working out should be both challenging and enjoyable.

Looking back, my biggest turning point wasn't simply changing careers. It was realizing that success isn't just about building a business. It's about building something you genuinely believe in, something that solves a real problem and makes a difference in people's lives.

Fit Haus was born from my own fitness journey, and my mission has always been to create the kind of place I was searching for myself.

My purpose is to create an environment where people genuinely want to show up, challenge themselves, and make their health a priority.

I know firsthand how difficult it can be to balance family, work, and personal goals. I also know how frustrating it is to invest in gym memberships and still struggle to find something that keeps you motivated.

That's why Fit Haus is so personal to me. I wanted to create more than just another gym. I wanted a place that offers variety, effective training, knowledgeable coaches, and most importantly, a community where people feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

I'm passionate about helping busy adults find a fitness routine they actually enjoy and can sustain long-term. Whether someone is just beginning their journey or has been training for years, I want them to feel challenged, inspired, and excited to come back.

What motivates me most is seeing our members grow stronger, build confidence, form friendships, and make fitness a part of their lifestyle.

For me, success isn't measured by how many people walk through our doors, but by how many genuinely love being here and the difference we make in their lives.
