FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS – SMALL GROUP CLASSES AT FIT HAUS
Are your group fitness classes good for beginners?
Yes. Our small group fitness classes in Mokena, IL are designed for all fitness levels, including beginners. Every class is coach-led, and each movement is demonstrated with modifications so you can train safely and confidently from day one.
What happens if I’ve never worked out before?
You’re not alone — and you’re welcome here. New members can start with our Group Class Trial or choose the OnRamp Program, which includes personal training sessions focused on learning proper movement, equipment use, and building confidence before joining group classes.
Are the workouts the same every day?
No. Our programming is structured and intentional, but workouts vary daily to target different muscle groups and movement patterns. This helps prevent plateaus, reduce injury risk, and support long-term progress.
Do I need to be in shape before joining?
Absolutely not. Our group classes are built to meet you where you are and help you progress at your own pace. Strength, endurance, and confidence are built over time — not expected on day one.
How often should I attend group fitness classes?
Most members see the best results attending 2–4 classes per week, depending on goals, schedule, and recovery. Our coaches can help guide you on frequency once you get started.
How many people are in a small group class?
We intentionally keep class sizes small to ensure personalized coaching and individual attention. This allows our trainers to correct form, provide feedback, and make adjustments throughout the workout.
How long are the group fitness classes?
• Monday–Friday: 45-minute classes • Saturday & Sunday: 60-minute classes Each class includes a warm-up, workout, and guided stretch.
Will a trainer be present during the entire class?
Yes. A certified coach is present every minute of every class — from movement demos and warm-up to coaching during the workout and leading the stretch at the end.
What should I bring to my first class?
• Comfortable workout clothes • Athletic shoes • Water bottle We provide all equipment needed for the workout.
Is this like a big-box gym class?
No. Fit Haus is not a big-box gym. Our small group fitness classes focus on coaching, form, and progression — not packed rooms, screens, or generic workouts.
